Premium 3-person indoor Finnish sauna from the OKA Design range, crafted from rich dark Thermo Abachi wood for a sleek, modern finish. Powered by a 6 kW HANSCRAFT electric heater with intelligent WiFi control, it delivers effortless heat at the touch of a button. Featuring ambient lighting, a striking starry ceiling, ergonomic backrests, and a full set of HANSCRAFT accessories for the complete luxury sauna experience.

Premium Thermo Abachi Construction

Crafted from selected African Thermo Abachi, this sauna is built for long-term performance in demanding sauna environments. The timber is thermally modified at high temperatures without chemicals, improving stability, durability, and resistance to heat and moisture.

This advanced process removes natural sugars and resins that can cause odours or warping, helping create a cleaner, more refined sauna experience. The result is a high-performance material with low moisture absorption, excellent structural stability, and reliable long-term durability.

Thermo Abachi is also naturally low in thermal conductivity, which means benches, backrests, and contact surfaces remain comfortable to the touch even at higher temperatures. Its warm, rich tone and clean finish make it ideal for a premium modern sauna design.

Interior Comfort & Atmosphere

Designed to seat up to three people comfortably, the interior features double benches in dark Thermo Abachi paired with supportive backrests for a more relaxing experience during longer sessions.

Soft ambient lighting is positioned beneath the benches, around the footrests, and along the rear wall to create a calm, luxurious atmosphere without glare. A standout feature is the striking starry ceiling with a dark backdrop, designed to make every sauna session feel more immersive and relaxing.

The space is enclosed with 6 mm tempered dark grey glass, finished with sleek black handles and hinges for a contemporary look that is both durable and practical.

Performance & Technology

The Hanscraft Pure Essential 3 is engineered for reliable performance, precise control, and everyday ease of use. A powerful 6 kW HANSCRAFT electric heater works with an integrated touch control panel to provide fast heat-up times and accurate temperature control.

The intelligent WiFi system allows you to operate the sauna remotely via the Smart Life app, so you can have it heated and ready exactly when you want it.

Built for Everyday Use

The rear wall is finished in sleek black slate stone, helping to retain heat while adding a strong visual focal point. Lower sections are treated with Black Sauna Wax for enhanced resistance to moisture and daily wear, while maintaining the premium dark finish throughout.

An integrated floor completes the design, making the sauna durable, easy to maintain, and well suited to regular home use.

Sauna FAQs

Running costs depend on the type of sauna:

  • Infrared sauna: typically £0.30 – £0.80 per session

  • Traditional sauna: typically £1 – £3 per session

Infrared is more energy efficient, while traditional saunas use more power due to higher heat levels.

The main difference is how they heat:

  • Infrared saunas heat your body directly at lower temperatures (around 40–60°C)

  • Traditional saunas heat the air to higher temperatures (70–100°C), often with steam

👉 Infrared = gentler, longer sessions

👉 Traditional = hotter, more intense experience

Both are great — it depends on preference:

  • Infrared is ideal for ease, efficiency, and everyday use

  • Traditional is better if you want a more authentic, high-heat sauna experience

Infrared: around 10–20 minutes

Traditional: around 30–45 minutes

  • Most infrared saunas run on a standard 13amp plug

  • Traditional saunas usually require a higher power supply (often 32amp)

Always check the specific model or ask us if unsure.

Yes — both infrared and traditional saunas are safe when used correctly.
