A premium 3-person indoor sauna from the OKA Design range, combining traditional Finnish heat with advanced infrared technology. Crafted from rich dark Thermo Abachi wood, it delivers a sleek, modern finish with excellent heat retention.

Powered by a 6 kW HANSCRAFT electric heater, the sauna offers fast heat-up times and precise temperature control, all managed via an intelligent WiFi controller for effortless remote operation. The integrated infrared system uses nano carbon foil to provide deep, soothing heat for enhanced relaxation and muscle recovery.

Inside, a striking black-based starry ceiling creates a luxurious atmosphere, complemented by ambient lighting, a lumbar physiotherapy panel, and ergonomically designed backrests for maximum comfort. The sauna is completed with a full set of HANSCRAFT accessories, delivering a refined, ready-to-use wellness experience

Luxury Sauna Made From Premium Wood

Crafted from carefully selected African Thermo Abachi timber, this combined sauna is built for performance in demanding sauna environments. The wood undergoes a precise thermal modification process at temperatures of approximately 180–215°C, without the use of any chemicals.

During this treatment, natural sugars, resins, and organic compounds—typically responsible for internal stress, odours, and biological instability—are effectively broken down. The result is a highly stable, durable material with enhanced resistance to moisture and heat, making it ideal for long-term use in high-temperature sauna conditions.

The result is a material with exceptionally low moisture absorption, outstanding dimensional stability, and long-term resistance to extreme heat and humidity. Its open, porous structure allows the wood to naturally regulate moisture within the space, helping maintain a balanced microclimate and promoting even heat distribution throughout the sauna.

With no resins present, the wood remains clean and stable at high temperatures, without releasing unwanted odours—ensuring a more hygienic and comfortable sauna experience.

Thermo Abachi is valued for its exceptionally low thermal conductivity, ensuring benches, backrests, and all contact surfaces remain comfortable to the touch—even at temperatures exceeding 90°C.

Through thermal modification, the wood develops a rich, uniform colour that remains stable over time, eliminating the need for additional surface treatments. The use of solid, continuous-length boards without joints enhances structural integrity while delivering a clean, seamless aesthetic that reflects the premium quality of the entire interior.

OKA Design

The OKA Design collection was developed in collaboration with architect Ondřej Kamenický, a long-standing partner of HANSCRAFT in the creation of premium wellness products. This partnership has also shaped the acclaimed OKA and OKANDINAVIA collections, recognised for their refined use of materials, balanced proportions, and calm, timeless design language.

Building on this experience, the collaboration was naturally extended into the sauna category. Ondřej Kamenický designed a range of combined saunas for HANSCRAFT that seamlessly integrate traditional Finnish sauna bathing with advanced infrared technology, while maintaining the signature design language of the OKA Design series.

The result is not a compromise between two systems, but a fully unified wellness solution—where form, function, and performance work together as one cohesive concept.

Technology & Construction Solutions

The OKA Fusion Synergy 3 sauna is designed as a seamless fusion of a traditional Finnish sauna and modern infrared technology. At its core is a powerful 6 kW HANSCRAFT electric heater, delivering authentic sauna performance with fast heat-up times and consistent temperature control via an integrated touch panel.

For added convenience, an intelligent WiFi controller allows you to manage the sauna remotely through the Smart Life mobile app, giving you precise control over temperature and operating settings—whenever it suits you.

The infrared section is equipped with a modern heating system using nano carbon foil, delivering smooth, even, and energy-efficient warmth throughout the cabin. Operating within the IR-C spectrum, the system combines multiple heating panels with a dedicated 300 W lumbar physiotherapy panel for targeted relief and enhanced comfort.

With a total output of 3,175 W, the infrared system provides deep, penetrating heat without overheating the surrounding air—creating a more comfortable, controlled, and effective wellness experience.

The construction is enhanced by a rear wall clad in slim black slate stone, adding both thermal mass for improved heat retention and a striking visual focal point. The lower and rear sections are finished with Black Sauna Wax, increasing resistance to moisture and everyday wear while creating a cohesive, deep-toned interior aesthetic.

An integrated floor is also included, purpose-built for sauna environments to ensure long-term durability, practicality, and easy maintenance.

Red Light Physio Zone

Experience targeted back care as part of your sauna routine. The Red Light Physio Zone combines deep infrared heat with 660 nm red light therapy to support muscle relaxation, ease tension, and promote natural recovery.

An ergonomic Softpad allows you to lean back comfortably against the heat source, with adjustable intensity to suit your needs at any moment. The result is focused back relief and a deeper, more personalised relaxation experience—without the need for complicated controls.

Sauna FAQs

Running costs depend on the type of sauna:

  • Infrared sauna: typically £0.30 – £0.80 per session

  • Traditional sauna: typically £1 – £3 per session

Infrared is more energy efficient, while traditional saunas use more power due to higher heat levels.

The main difference is how they heat:

  • Infrared saunas heat your body directly at lower temperatures (around 40–60°C)

  • Traditional saunas heat the air to higher temperatures (70–100°C), often with steam

👉 Infrared = gentler, longer sessions

👉 Traditional = hotter, more intense experience

Both are great — it depends on preference:

  • Infrared is ideal for ease, efficiency, and everyday use

  • Traditional is better if you want a more authentic, high-heat sauna experience

Infrared: around 10–20 minutes

Traditional: around 30–45 minutes

  • Most infrared saunas run on a standard 13amp plug

  • Traditional saunas usually require a higher power supply (often 32amp)

Always check the specific model or ask us if unsure.
