How does Airrex Work?
The Airrex heaters contain an advanced oil burner. It contains an oil burner with an electric fuel pump that moves the combustion gases through the pipelines with a ceramic coating and creates heat as infrared radiation.
The triple combustion process ensures complete and clean combustion. Normal ventilation is sufficient.
The silencing sound system inside the exhaust pipe that compresses and expands the exhaust makes Airrex very quiet, at only 48dB.
The Airrex heater comes in three different sizes, the 200i, 300i and the 800i.
The 200i and the 300i are great for heating areas such as houses, garages, leisure homes, caravans and greenhouses. The 800i is more suited to heating larger spaces such as workshops, event tents and industrial halls.

The Airrex diesel-powered heater has a low consumption of fuel, has no odour, is thermostatically controlled and is virtually silent. The fact that it doesn’t have a fan means that dust is not released into the air where it can be breathed in.
The Airrex AH-300i infrared heater is identical to the 200i in many ways, except this heater heats spaces up to 1500m³. It is perfect for all the same facilities as the 200i.
The Airrex 800i Infrared heater is the most powerful diesel-powered heater in the Airrex range, it is designed to heat large spaces, such as event tents, industrial halls and workshops.
As with the 200i and the 300i this heater is thermostatically controlled, odourless, consumes a small amount of diesel and does not have a fan, meaning that dust cannot be circulated into the air.
The Airrex aH-800i infrared heater is suitable for spaces up to 2000m³
Refuelling the Airrex heaters are also very simple and efficient as they come with a battery powered fuel transfer pump. Simply attach one end of the pump to the Airrex heater and put the other end in the fuel, press the button and the fuel will automatically be sucked up through the pump and into the heater
Each one of the Airrex AH heaters comes complete with a soft touch control panel and LED screen, making temperature adjustment simple and efficient, you just set it to the temperature you want to room to get to and it will heat up. When it reaches the required temperature it will shut off until the temperature of the room falls approximately 3 degrees below the desired temperature, it will then automatically switch back on again and heat the room up to temperature once more.
They also have built-in WiFi connectivity, meaning that it can be controlled via an App on your smartphone, this App can be downloaded either from the Apple Store or Play Store depending on whether you have an iPhone or an Android phone. If you are somewhere that does not have WiFi and wish to control the Airrex heater manually, you can use a 4G dongle to control it via the App.
Each Airrex heater contains 12 different safety systems, such as an odour prevention system, fuel level, tilt, overheating, security system and automatic shut down. If any of these instances occur, the heater will automatically shut down and disable the fuel.
If there has been a power cut, the heater will continue operation with the same settings it had before the power cut.
So all in all an Airrex heater is the perfect choice to reduce your energy bills this winter and still stay warm.
Explore our collection of diesel-powered infrared heaters by Airrex. These infrared heaters can heat huge spaces fast, making them ideal for small business unit heating, garage heating and much more.
Auxiliary diesel heaters developed by Airrex produce safe infrared radiation. The heat produced by the infrared heater spreads evenly into the structures of the space or site to be heated. A separate fan is not needed. The heating effect is quick, and the patented oil burner and exhaust piping utilise practically 100% of the energy included in the fuel.
Thanks to utilising the fuel completely as heating energy, the emissions of the Airrex heater are so low that separate exhaust piping outside the heated space is practically not needed. The heaters run on biodiesel made of renewable materials, ordinary diesel or red diesel.
The Airrex infrared heater is very safe, with versatile safety systems. If the heater shakes, it is about to fall unexpectedly or a disturbance occurs in it, its comprehensive safety system immediately turns off the bulb and disconnects fuel feeding.
