Understand the cost
What would you pay each month?
Your payment depends on the amount borrowed, the repayment term and the rate offered. Ideal4Finance and the lender will confirm your personalised figures.
- Amount borrowed
- Check the full purchase price, any contribution you make and the amount financed.
- APR and term
- Compare the interest rate and length of the loan. A longer term can lower monthly payments but increase the total cost.
- Monthly and total repayments
- Check both the regular payment and the total amount repayable, including interest and any fees.
Before you apply
Ideal4Finance currently asks applicants to meet these starting requirements:
- Aged 18–75, with permanent UK residency and three years of address history.
- Employed, self-employed or retired, with gross annual income above £12,000.
- A bank or building society account that supports Direct Debit.
- Not currently bankrupt, subject to an IVA or with any CCJs.

Will applying affect my credit score?
Ideal4Finance’s application includes credit-reference checks. Read the declarations and confirm the type of search with Ideal4Finance before proceeding. A soft search and a full credit application are different stages; do not assume the entire process is a soft search.
How quickly can I apply?
The online application takes a few minutes to complete. A decision may take longer and can depend on lender checks or further information. Approval is not guaranteed.
Is Ideal4Finance the lender?
No. Ideal4Finance is a credit broker that works with a panel of lenders. The lender assesses your application and sets the terms of any loan offered.
Is a £99 reservation my finance deposit?
A £99 reservation holds your product under our reservation terms; it is not a guarantee of finance or a lender-approved deposit. Any deposit or contribution required for finance will be confirmed separately. You can also choose to pay for your product in full.
Can I finance a swim spa or sauna?
