Swimfresh Chlorine Reducer is used for lowering chlorine or bromine levels in hot tub water after shock treatment or as a problem solver if the hot tub has been overdosed with chlorine or bromine.
Application Instructions
- Dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10ltrs) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure the product is fully dissolved. carefully add the solution to the tub whilst the pump is turned on, preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
- If applying after shock treatment, allow a minimum of 8 hours for the shock chlorination to oxidise wastes from the water before application.
- Measure the free chlorine level in the water then using the table below calculate the total amount required.
- Split this into 4 smaller doses, apply each quater dose allowing time to thoroughly circulate before retesting and if necessary adding further doses.
